UPDATED SECOND EDITION

As of August 2019, Lepidoptera has been released in an updated second edition. Apart from updates to formatting, the second edition differs from the original in the following ways:

• The new pattern includes a sample quilt and color chart using 30 colors of Robert Kaufman’s Kona Cotton Solids. You can use this guide to make the new sample using the original pattern.

• The new pattern still uses 30 different colorful fabrics, but 28 are fat quarters and 2 are 3/8 yard cuts. This is different from the original pattern, which used 30 fat quarters. This update is intended to give a little bit of wiggle room to make cutting and piecing easier.

• Previously-published corrections to the pattern (see below) have been incorporated. Additionally, several piece sizes that were not incorrect have been adjusted to make piecing easier.
