POLYCHROMATIC
Polychromatic includes instructions for making patchwork rainbow quilts in two sizes, plus a pillow. Everything is made using conventional patchwork techniques. No templates or paper piecing!
Each block includes a smaller number of larger pieces than most of my other patterns, making this a relaxing project perfect for turning your favorite colors and fabrics into cheerful rainbow blocks.
The pattern includes a detailed color chart that you can use to duplicate my fabrics exactly, or as a guide for arranging your own fabrics in the quilt.
PRINT PATTERNS, FABRICS, AND KITS
The Polychromatic Large Quilt and Pillow pictured on this page were made with Robert Kaufman’s Kona Cotton Solids. A detailed color chart is included in the pattern, which is shipping to my wholesale distributors now.
The background fabric on both of my samples is Robert Kaufman’s Essex Yarn-Dyed Speckle in Dolphin (E134-959).
As part of its January 2021 release, Robert Kaufman is selling a kit to make the Large Quilt. It includes the pattern and all of the same fabrics I used to make the quilt top and binding in my sample. Shops can order the kits from Robert Kaufman now, for shipping later this Spring (which is when you will start to see them in shops.)
